Students are given the opportunity to participate in a cross-discipline, inter-faculty learning experience which allows them to interact and gain insights into different industries which play a vital and significant role for any student, from any faculty and programme. This experience will ensure students are highly-equipped with the business acumen and creative thinking that will enhance their personal development, and provide the ‘X’ factor, or competitive edge to ensure they are highly valued, highly knowledgeable, globally cultured and most importantly…highly employable. This London Integrated Project will be the start of a great journey for the students as they will be exposed to diverse range of people, cultures and religions. The students will not only visit and discover the wonders of London in terms of public relations campaign, events, design, photography, publicities, and documentary in daily life and heritage aspects but will also learn and witness by themselves how the cultural values and the legacy have been preserved and strictly followed despite London being a leading global city and one of the world’s largest metropolitan area in Europe.
Students will experience self-responsibility and be more self-determined. During this field research it will become a great eye-opener for them as they move on in their course of studies and eventually their careers. This is because the students will use primary research methods to gather data, convert it into an in-depth analysis which will eventually be published and exhibited. They will also gather data and visual research for better understanding of film and television, public relations, advertising, entrepreneurship, and event elements based on event and culture in London.
Throughout this trip, students will learn about teamwork and meeting deadlines as they need to gather as much data as possible and train themselves to work under limited time constraints. This will be a significant educational trip as students will discover and enjoy the greatness of London as well as help promote Limkokwing London.
